in to on表示方位的区别

　　虽然in 、to 、on三者都可以表示方位，但细化下来三者所表示的含义却不同。in表示在某地范围之内。to表示在某地范围之外，且不接壤。on表示与某地相邻或接壤。

　　一、in是表示在某一地区内的方位(属于该范围，在境内)。

　　例如：

　　China is in the east of Asia. 中国在亚洲东部。(中国是亚洲的一个国家，处于亚洲的范围之内)

　　Guilin is in the north of Guangxi. 桂林在广西北部。(桂林是广西的一座城市)

　　二、on是表示与某一地区的毗邻关系(两地接壤)。

　　China faces the Pacific on the east. 中国东临太平洋。(中国与太平洋相邻)

　　Shangdong lies on the southeast of Hebei.山东位于河北省的东南。

　　Sichuan Province is on the north of Guizhou Province. 四川省在贵州省的北边。

　　三、表示在某一地区之外的方位(不属于该范围)。

　　例如：China lies to the west of Japan.中国位于日本西边。

　　Taiwan is to the southeast of Fujian Province. 台湾在福建省的东南面。
