　　1、who,whom,whose指人，在定语从句中分别作主语、宾语和定语。

　　He is the person who is going to give a concert on the square.

　　他是那个要在广场上举行音乐会的人。

　　The man (whom) we just talked about was a Nobel Prize winner.

　　我们刚刚谈论的那个人是一位诺贝尔奖获得者。

　　I have never yet met a woman whose figure is so beautiful.

　　我从未遇见过体形如此美的女子。

　　2、which指物，在定语从句中作主语或宾语。

　　This is a book which tells about space rocket technology.

　　这是一本讲航天火箭技术的书。

　　The film (which) we saw last night was wonderful.

　　我们昨晚看的那部电影非常精彩。

　　3、that既可指物，也可指人，在定语从句中作主语或宾语。

　　A dictionary is a book that/which gives the meanings of words.

　　词典是解释词义的书。

　　Is this the driver that/whom you talked about yesterday?

　　这就是你们昨天谈到的那个司机吗?(about不能放在that/whom之前)

　　4、关系代词as常和such或same连用,在从句中作主语或宾语。

　　A.和such连用

　　Such people as you describe are rare now.

　　你所描写的这种人现在少之又少。

　　Such people as have made great contributions to the world should be greatly respected.

　　那些对世界做出巨大贡献的人应该受到极大的尊重。

　　B.和same连用

　　I feel just the same as you do.

　　我的感觉同你的感觉一样。

　　Please lend us the same tools as were used the other day.

　　请把和那天用过的一样的工具借给我们。
