　　1. so与such后接形容词、名词时的用法区别：

　　so+形容词+a/an+名词单数+that从句=such+a/an+形容词+名词单数+that从句so +many/few/much/little+复数可数名词/不可数名词+that从句such+形容词+不可数名词+that从句such+形容词+复数可数名词+that从句。如：such a beautiful girl=so beautiful a girl

　　2. 比较级和最高级的用法

　　(1)同级比较结构：肯定形式：as + 形容词/副词原级 + as…;否定形式：not so (as) + 形容词/副词原级 + as…;如：History is as interesting as science. 历史和科学一样有趣。I am not so good a player as you are.(注：as / so ... as之间加名词时的结构)我不是一个像你一样优秀的运动员。

　　(2)不同级比较A. 比较级+than…或more (less)… than…(比……)。如：He is taller than his uncle. 他比他叔叔高。I like fish better than chicken. 相比于鸡肉，我更喜欢吃鱼。B. 比较级+and+比较级(越来越……)。如：It is getting hotter and hotter. 天越来越热了。He studies better and better. 他的学习越来越好。C. The + 比较级..., the + 比较级...(越……就越……)。如：The more trees we plant, the better it will be. 我们种的树越多，(环境)就会越好。The harder you try, the greater your progress is. 你越努力，进步越大。

　　(3)最高级结构：the + 最高级 + of / in + 比较范围。如：Spring is the best season of the year. 春天是一年里最美好的季节。Lin Tao jumped (the) farthest of all.(注：副词最高级前面的the往往省略)林涛在所有人中跳得最远。

　　3. 倍数表达法

　　A+ be +倍数+ 形容词(或副词)的比较级+ than +BOur school is three times larger than yours. 我们的学校比你们学校大三倍。A+ be +倍数+ as +形容词(或much)或副词+ as + BOur school is four times as large as yours.A+ be +倍数+ the + size (length, height ...)+ of + BOur school is four times the size of yours.

　　4. 含有than的结构的区别

　　no more than只有，仅仅;not more than不超过，至多;no more ... than“与……都不……;既不……也不……”。如：He is no more than an ordinary English teacher. 他只不过是个普通的英文老师。He has not more than three shirts. 他最多只有3件衬衫(含有“或许还不到3件”之意)。He is no more a writer than a painter. 他既不是作家，也不是画家。no less than多达;not less than不少于，至少;no less...than“与……一样……;不比……差”。如：We walked no less than three miles. 我们走了三英里之远。He has not less than seven daughters. 他至少有七个女儿。He is no less wise than you. 他跟你一样聪明(他并不比你笨)。rather than而不是;other than除了;more than多于，比……多(=over)。
